Completion of this program satisfies the Montana Department of Labor and Industry requirement for the educational component of the electrical apprenticeship program, and it is intended only for currently registered electrical apprentices. Please note that this program is not eligible for federal financial aid. The program is scheduled for a succession of eight semesters, fall and spring. In conjunction with the required work experience, this program provides students the training necessary to work in the field of electrical wiring in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.Upon completion of this program, students will be able toRead simple wiring diagrams;Read, interpret, and produce solutions to application problems at the introductory technical mathematics level;Recognize and act using the skills needed in a situation requiring first aid and/or CPR;Relate, in detail, the NEC to residential wiring methods;Effectively use ammeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and phase detectors in testing and troubleshooting DC and AC motors;Describe the construction of a single-phase transformer, including parts and relationships;Describe safety practices that relate to all types of rigging;Prepare a cost estimate for a residential, commercial, or industrial application;Employ appropriate procedures to safely and correctly install various electrical circuits and raceways; andDetermine the proper wire and cable installations required by the NEC for various residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Job Corps’ Painting, Pre-Apprentice training program teaches students the skills like how to apply paint, stain and coatings to walls and ceilings, buildings, bridges or other items such as cars, jewelry and ceramics, use machinery to apply the paints or use scaffolding and raise ladders, fill holes and cracks with plaster and putty, and utilize simple math to calculate dimensions. This program specifically prepares students for a Registered Apprenticeship after graduation. Students who complete the Painting, Pre-Apprentice training program can earn industry-recognized credentials from organizations such as the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and certifications in construction safety from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Job Corps’ Welding training program teaches students skills like joining metals using a variety of techniques and processes, understanding and following safety procedures including properly using safety equipment, and identifying and explaining the composition and classification of metals, and designing and building a fixture for assembling simple parts. These skills prepare students for a career working in a variety of jobs for manufacturing companies, construction companies, trade shops, shipbuilders or repair shops. Students should also consider pursuing Advanced Manufacturing Production Technician, Advanced Machinist and other Advanced Training programs at Job Corps as a part of their career pathway. Students who complete the Electrical, Pre-Apprentice training program can earn industry-recognized credentials from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and certifications in construction health and safety from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
This certificate prepares students for employment in the CNC machine programming career field. Graduates gain the skills needed to program solid models and set-up multi-axis machines through classroom theory and hands-on laboratory instruction.

Computer Aided Machining (CAM) is an important part of the manufacturing process as it facilitates the control of automated machines to product parts.The Associate of Applied Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology -Computer Aided Machining program builds on the One-Year Computer Aided Machining Operator certificate. It is designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to setup, program and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines in a manufacturing setting, specifically the Machining and Turning Center. You'll get an excellent background in math and problem solving as well as real-world training with modern equipment.
This certificate will prepare students to become machine operators in the machine tool industry. The courses involved in this certificate program can be applied to the CNC diploma or the Associate Degree in Advanced Machine Tool Technology.

It's a fact; in the past five years every graduate of Industrial Systems Technology was employed in the field after completing the program.In the industrial systems program you learn how things work. Hydraulics, electronics and even robots are part of the instruction at CCCC.You train with the same state-of-the-art equipment found in the real-world workplace.

People who wish to prepare for industry certification or qualify for promotion in a present position to another field may benefit from this program. Students may use their 18 credits of technical electives to explore a variety of technical electives.
