This certificate is designed to offer employability skills for the industrial environment and prepare the student for various entry-level positions at industrial and manufacturing work sites. Topics such as safety, communication, problem solving and computer use are introduced.
The Skilled Trades Program is designed to serve individuals who have a background or interest in pursuing a skilled trade such as automotive, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, carpentry and welding and who desire to advance their career, through continued education, into a supervisory or management role. The program provides for up to 30 credits to be awarded toward the Associate in Applied Science Degree for a trade or technical certificate completed at the college and may include equivalent work or training experiences assessed as Credit for Prior Learning. The curriculum includes general education courses that will strengthen communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills essential to career advancement.
To train students in advanced skills in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, primarily in residential applications.

Build a future in industrial systems technology. If you like high-tech and hands-on, this is the program for you. It's a fact; in the past five years every graduate of Industrial Systems Technology was employed in the field after completing the program.In the industrial systems program you learn how things work. You learn how to find problems, how to fix them and how to keep things running smoothly.Studies include programming, wiring, and circuitry. Hydraulics, electronics and even robots are part of the instruction at CCCC.You train with the same state-of-the-art equipment found in the real-world workplace.
Job Corps’ Electrical training program teaches students the skills needed to work with electrical systems in homes, businesses and factories, including how to install, maintain and repair electrical power, communications, lighting and control systems in places of all sizes, read blueprints and diagrams and will need to follow state and local building regulations, and use various hand tools and power tools. These skills prepare students for jobs as electricians across industries, including in the construction, manufacturing or engineering industries. Students who complete the Electrical training program can earn industry-recognized credentials from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and certifications in construction health and safety from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
The Electrical Applications (EA) program contains seven (7) courses, 30 weeks, and 28 semester credit hours. The objective of the EA program is to train and prepare students for entry-level or trainee positions in the residential, commercial, and industrial electrical industry. Students completing this program should have an understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, residential and commercial wiring applications, voice, video, and data cabling systems, the application of motors, lighting, and devices that control them as well as exposure to various types of transformers. Upon successful completion of this program, students will receive a Diploma.
Job Corps’ Painting, Pre-Apprentice training program teaches students the skills like how to apply paint, stain and coatings to walls and ceilings, buildings, bridges or other items such as cars, jewelry and ceramics, use machinery to apply the paints or use scaffolding and raise ladders, fill holes and cracks with plaster and putty, and utilize simple math to calculate dimensions. This program specifically prepares students for a Registered Apprenticeship after graduation. Students who complete the Painting, Pre-Apprentice training program can earn industry-recognized credentials from organizations such as the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and certifications in construction safety from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

The Advanced Technology Program is designed to serve individuals who desire hands-on training and education for the acquisition or advancement of a technical career in areas such as manufacturing, electronics, industrial production, process control, computer aided design and drafting, facilities management and CNC operations.The program is flexible enough that it can serve those both at entry level and those with established skills who seek technical growth or advancement through continued education. The program provides for up to 24 credits to be awarded toward the Associate of Applied Science Degree for technical courses or certificates completed at the college. The curriculum includes general education and information technology cores that will develop skills in communication, computer applications and applied science while strengthening problem solving and critical thinking skills essential to career advancement.This program is designed primarily to serve students who have completed the Advanced Technology Certificate programs at the college. Ideally, students would pursue this program as continuing education after beginning employment as a trainee following certificate completion.

Materials of industry and new technology require highly skilled persons that understand material sciences, metallurgy, and the joining processes used to produce optimum quality fabrications. The quality conscience industry of today demands certified people that can perform tasks from the simplest, to more complex technical applications. The courses selected in this program will give the student the required skills needed to perform, both hands-on and analytical tasks required by modern industrial technology.
Industry demand for highly skilled problem-solvers continues to increase, but there is a lack of qualified employees with the high-tech, design engineering and critical thinking skills needed to fill Advanced Manufacturing positions. The Industry 4.0 certificate prepares students for these Advanced Manufacturing positions by offering them the opportunity to earn FI4.0CP Industry Certifications. To have the opportunity to earn these Certifications, students will complete illustrative labs and assignments provided by FI4.0CP certified instructors.FI4.0CP - Festo Industry 4.0 Certification Program
