The Industrial Technology AAS degree prepares students for job advancement or to transfer to a four-year institution to obtain a bachelor’s degree in technology-dependent fields such as, automotive technology and service, building construction, electronics,heating, ventilating and air conditioning, electrical technology, automated systems maintenance and manufacturing, machine design, and welding to name a few. This program is designed to afford students with the flexibility to tailor their coursework to meet their individual occupational or transfer goals. Students may complete this program at the Harrisburg Campus through a combination of mixed modalities (e.g., on-campus/in-person instruction, hybrid, flex, remote instruction and/or virtual learning)

Job Corps’ OTP Advanced Manufacturing training program connects Job Corps students with other local training providers like technical or community colleges, trade schools or employers to provide specialized education and training services. Students learn skills like reading and understanding schematics and blueprints, positioning or aligning components and parts either manually or with hoists, using hand tools or machines to assemble parts, conducting quality control checks, and describing the commonalities and differences of the alternating current and direct current (AC/DC) systems (e.g., wire color codes in both). These skills prepare students for a career in manufacturing, production engineering and machine shops. Students who complete Advanced Manufacturing training at Job Corps can earn nationally recognized credentials from the American Welding Society (AWS) and the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS).
The Applied Technology and Apprenticeship Department offers programs and courses that provide education and training for apprentices, craftsmen, technicians, and others who are seeking a career in a highly skilled area. Specializations are available in numerous industrial and construction trades and skilled professions. Applied Technology students might be currently employed or seeking means to career entry or upgrade. Cooperation with industry keeps programs relevant to job skills required in a competitive market. Students as well as employers are served through the many Applied Technology courses that can lead to certificates and associate degrees. Applied Technology courses begin with AT (e.g., ATWD indicates a course in Applied Technology-Welding).

The Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology prepares you to start work as an application engineer, test engineer, mechanical design engineer, field service engineer, manufacturing engineer or product engineer. You can also continue your studies toward a 4-year mechanical engineering technology degree or other related engineering degree.
Demonstrate your continued knowledge and mastery of wire harnesses and assemblies to prospective employers.
This program will train students in the use of Solid Works and CATIA CAD software, which will be utilized by local companies in the machine design, automotive and aerospace industries.
The Electrical Lineworker (EL) program, available at the Dallas Metro and Jacksonville, FLcampuses only, contains six (6) courses, 15 weeks, and 16.5 semester credit hours. The ELprogram is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the field of utilitypower transmission and distribution construction, troubleshooting, and commercialelectrical maintenance and repair. The curriculum includes Climbing in Elevated WorkSite (Pole Climbing), Overhead Construction, Underground Construction, System Designand Operation, National Electric Safety Code, AC and DC Circuits, and Electric Power.Competencies in this curriculum were developed to coincide with the National standards forelectric power generation, distribution, and transmission industry as described in the UnitedStates Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Students willhave the opportunity to qualify for OSHA-10 certification
This certificate provides the training necessary to prepare students for positions as automation technicians, mechatronics technicians or robotics technicians in an advanced manufacturing environment.
This is a transfer opportunity for students wanting to transfer into The Citadel in electrical engineering. An articulation agreement between The Citadel and TTC allows students to enroll at TTC with the following courses approved for transfer to The Citadel. The purpose of this agreement is to provide courses at TTC equivalent to the lower division requirements of The Citadel's Department of Engineering to promote access to and facilitate the transfer of TTC's students into The Citadel's BS in Electrical Engineering program.
