The Associate of Science in Engineering-Industrial and Systems Engineering prepares students for four-year institutions by introducing them to Computer-Aided Design (CAD), structural engineering, material properties, infrastructure, environmental factors, and their theories. By the completion of this program, students may be able to join the industrial engineering industry at entry-level positions. Students are encouraged to transfer to a four-year institution after the completion of the AS in Industrial and Systems Engineering.

This certificate program is designed to equip students with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary to gain entry to the robotics field. Through a blend of classroom lecture and hands-on experience, students will learn electrical theory; how to install, program, or repair robotic controllers and related equipment; how to troubleshoot robotic systems; and how to perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components. This certificate is designed to prepare students for career success in robotics. The overall growth of the manufacturing industry and related fields will require a growing number of robotics technicians to install and maintain robotic systems and components. This program is a good fit for people who enjoy working with their hands, with an emphasis on spatial conceptualization and mechanical reasoning. Those who graduate with this certificate have a solid understanding of the machinery and equipment used in the robotics field.
This is a transfer opportunity for students wanting to transfer into The Citadel in electrical engineering. An articulation agreement between The Citadel and TTC allows students to enroll at TTC with the following courses approved for transfer to The Citadel. The purpose of this agreement is to provide courses at TTC equivalent to the lower division requirements of The Citadel's Department of Engineering to promote access to and facilitate the transfer of TTC's students into The Citadel's BS in Electrical Engineering program.
The Climate Control Technology program is designed to prepare students for a career in the fields of air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration.
This all-expense paid, 10-week accelerated training will provide you with 80-hours of training in preparation for the American Welding Society certification exam in select structural and pipe, to include: Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). Students will learn many different types of welding practices, shop safety and metal fabrication skills. Students will learn the skills needed to find employment after completion.AWS certifications will be held after the completion of 80 hours of training. Students can choose (with instructor guidance) which AWS certification they intend to complete.This training is intended for individuals who have some basic prior knowledge and skill in welding. Interested students will need to complete an interview and a basic skills test.
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in CNC Engineering Technology builds on the AC in CNC Engineering Technology adding in the additional materials, Computer Aided Manufacturing and Advanced Metrology skills students need when pursuing careers in advanced manufacturing. Students in this program are looking to pursue careers leading teams and solving problems for manufacturing employers in the metal working industries that are increasingly becoming more automated and integrated with advanced technologies.

Job Corps’ Welding training program teaches students skills like joining metals using a variety of techniques and processes, understanding and following safety procedures including properly using safety equipment, and identifying and explaining the composition and classification of metals, and designing and building a fixture for assembling simple parts. These skills prepare students for a career working in a variety of jobs for manufacturing companies, construction companies, trade shops, shipbuilders or repair shops. Students should also consider pursuing Advanced Manufacturing Production Technician, Advanced Machinist and other Advanced Training programs at Job Corps as a part of their career pathway. Students who complete Welding training at Job Corps can earn nationally recognized credentials from the American Welding Society (AWS) and the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS).

Supervisors are the manufacturing company leaders that organize the production operations to achieve production goals, improvements and targets. Students in this program will gain a solid overview of production process, robotics, and quality assurance process and maintenance techniques commonly found in industrial manufacturing plants to be knowledgeable of the operations they may be responsible for in their career. Students take courses in production process with hands on labs as well as in management, human resources, project management and supervision to be knowledgeable of the many facets involved with leading a production team. Students are also able to continue their studies to pursue a Bachelor's Degree at other institutions to further advance their skills in this exciting aspect of manufacturing and production.
The Welding Technology Certificate of Technical Studies provides students the minimum welding skills needed to be employable, including at least two AWS certifications.Upon successful completion of the program, students willDescribe and demonstrate safe use of each type of welding equipment;Select and demonstrate various joining processes;Demonstrate proper setup, adjustment, and use of typical cutting and welding equipment;Demonstrate proficiency in OXYFUEL, SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes;Visually inspect and document proper applications of welding processes; andDemonstrate techniques and devices for minimizing part distortion during welding.
