About This Program

Acquire all the skills offered during CCAT's Additive Workflows Training program. On route to this credential, you will complete training focused on applications of additive manufacturing, design for additive manufacturing, and building an additive business case. Program Outcomes: 1. Additive Manufacturing Online Foundational courses provide learners with the essential concepts and principles needed to design and produce additive and 3D-printed prototypes, work-in-progress (WIP) tools, and finished parts. 2. Participants will learn advanced technologies for additive part design, DfAM, and topology optimization.3. Explore key AM business cases and learn to evaluate the costs and benefits of additive technology adoption, helping them understand the value proposition for their organization.4. Understand the core design principles specific to extrusion-based additive manufacturing, including layer-based construction and material flow dynamics.5. Gain proficiency in optimizing workflows for resin-based 3D printing, ensuring efficient production from digital design to final cured product. 6. Understand the specific design strategies required for powder-based additive manufacturing, including considerations for powder flow, layer fusion, and part geometry.7. Understand the principles and processes of Directed Energy Deposition (DED), including how the technology works and its various applications.
