About This Program

The Electrical Technologies (ET) program, available at the Dallas Metro campus only, containsseven (7) phase term courses, 30 weeks, and 28 semester credit hours. The objective of the ETprogram is to train and prepare students for entry-level or trainee positions in the residential,commercial, and industrial electrical industry. Students completing this program shouldhave an understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, residential and commercialwiring applications, voice, video, and data cabling systems, the application of motors,lighting, and devices that control them as well as exposure to various types of transformers.Upon successful completion of this program, students will receive a Diploma.
