About This Program

Acquire all of the skills offered during CCAT's Quality week. On route to this credential you will complete training focused on First Article Inspection Automation for MBD, Inspection Workflows for MBD and Automated Programming of CMM/Non-contact Inspection. Program Outcomes: 1. Develop an awareness of the digital thread (DT), model-based engineering (MBE) and model-based definition (MBD). 2. Become familiar with technical data packages (TDP), the common file types, and the role, use and definition of derivative files.3. Demonstrate how to develop an inspection plan, and the different formats in which one can be exported and automate the creation of inspection plans using advanced software. 4. Demonstrate how to automate preparation of First Article Inspection reports using advanced software. 5. Demonstrate how to set up an inspection template for part inspection using advanced software. 6. Demonstrate inspection workflows on a coordinate measuring machine (CMM).7. Demonstrate how to use advanced software to automate the program creation and inspection of a part using a CMM. 8. Describe how model-based definition has assisted in the automated programming of non-contact inspection.
